IFEM Endo’s teaching activity involves:
Teaching
of advanced surgery
Teaching of advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery in endometriosis for gynecological and colorectal surgeons, which takes place in the operating room at the Tivoli-Ducos Clinic. Teaching includes:
- Masterclasses in endometriosis management, in partnership with the European Endometriosis League, with a panel of French and European speakers: Learn more
- Workshops by groups of 6 surgeons, organized by industrial partners ETHICON, OLYMPUS, NORDIC PHARMA, PLASMA SURGICAL LTD
- Webinars organized by academic societies or industrial partners
- Personalized teaching
From September 2018 to June 2020, advanced endometriosis surgery teaching was provided to 110 surgeons: 54 French surgeons and 56 surgeons from Australia, Germany, Bulgaria, Denmark, Spain, Hungary, India, Iran, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Morocco, Romania, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Turkey. Twelve surgeons completed fellowshipperiods of more than 1 month.

University teaching for endometriosis and adenomyosis management: The 3 IFEM Endo founding members organize and oversee a multidisciplinary and general Inter-University Diploma (DIU) in the management of endometriosis and adenomyosis. Two IFEM Endo founding members are on the DIU Steering Committee.

21 surgeries have been transmitted liveor recorded in different international congresses in New York, Madrid, Prague, Istanbul, Cairo, Bern, Bucharest, Timisoara, Budapest and Helsinki. The broadcasts concerned excision procedures of deep endometriosis lesions of the digestive tract, the urinary tract and the sacral nervous plexus, and can be viewed here.

A masterclass was organized from March 18 to 20, 2020 under the auspices of the European Endometriosis League (EEL) for 15 European surgeons, postponed following lockdown measures due to the Coronavirus epidemic.
