Multidisciplinary Consultation Meetings (RCP)

RCPs bring together physicians from different specialties (gynecologists, radiologists, reproductive specialists, digestive surgeons and urologists), practicing in different establishments in the Bordeaux metropolitan area, around the same table to define multidisciplinary management strategies for patients with complex forms of endometriosis.

Multidisciplinary consultation meetings

RCPs are major events in the running of our center.

These are monthly meetings, usually held on the first Thursday of each month, starting at 7pm.

Participating physicians come from IFEM Endo, Clinique Jean Vilar in Bruges and Clinique Bagatelle in Talence. Every 4 to 6 months, RCPs are organized jointly with the team from Bordeaux University Hospital, which is also a referral center for complex endometriosis surgery in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region. Physicians can participate on site or by videoconference.

Physicians: Participate in RCP

As the doctors come from different establishments, the RCPs are hosted alternately within these establishments. RCPs are open to gynecologists, general practitioners and midwives practicing in town practices, as well as to all doctors from the different establishments in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region, who can present their patients and seek advice.

To submit a file, doctors must first complete an administrative form for each patient, and provide the DICOM file of a recent MRI scan for review.

Physicians from other sites can participate in person or by videoconference via ZOOM. To take part in meetings and submit files, doctors must send a request by e-mail.

The conclusions of the RCP are drawn up by the IFEM Endo secretary and sent to the doctors responsible for patient management.
